Sized to the school.

Plans run from one teacher to a whole department, and there is a separate path for a partner who wants their own brand. Prices are in yen, and the figure is the amount you pay. Start free, or size it with us in a demo.

Wika has five plans, priced in yen: Free; Solo at ¥3,480 a month; School Starter at ¥16,800; School at ¥42,000; and Campus at ¥98,000 a month when paid yearly (¥4,180 / ¥20,200 / ¥50,600 / ¥118,000 month to month).

How a plan is counted

Students who show up. Teachers included. Lessons from a shared pool.

  1. Active students

    A student counts when they sign in during the billing month. A student who stays away that month does not count.

  2. Teachers included

    Colleague seats are part of the plan. Solo can add one more teacher. A third teacher moves the school up, and the lessons, classes, and students come along.

  3. A shared pool of credits

    Every teacher in the school draws from the same monthly pool. One new lesson uses one credit. A longer lesson uses two. Audio and the quiz are part of the lesson.

  4. Editing is included

    Regenerating a line, a section, or a quiz question, typing your own words, assigning, and student study do not spend a credit. Ordinary teaching use is the assumption.

  5. A quiet month keeps its remainder

    Unused credits carry into the next month. If the pool runs out, teachers still edit and assign, and students still study. Only a new lesson waits, until a credit pack or the next month.

In Wika, one credit creates one new lesson with audio and a quiz; an Extended lesson uses two. Editing, assigning, and studying never use credits.

The figure is the amount you pay. Kenjin Labs does not add consumption tax. Subscription plans carry the Wika name. Your own logo, colours, domain, and email sender belong to the partner programme below.

When the school grows

Add room, or move up. The lessons stay.

  • Extra students

    ¥300 a month for each active student past the number the plan includes. The included students are already in the plan price, including a year paid ahead.

  • Extra teachers

    ¥4,000 a month per teacher. Solo can add one. From School Starter up, add the teachers the school needs.

  • Credit packs

    25 credits for ¥2,000, 100 credits for ¥7,000, or 500 credits for ¥33,000. For a month that needs more new lessons than the pool holds. They last beyond that month.

  • A training session

    A remote walkthrough for the teachers who will use it. On some annual plans it is included.

  • A year, paid ahead

    Save up to 17% against paying each month. More than one year, and more than one campus, can cost less still. Each campus keeps its own credit pool.

Where it runs
Wika is a hosted service. There is nothing to install, and every school stays on the current version.
How you pay
By card, or by bank transfer against an invoice when you pay for a year ahead. Students past the included number are their own line for that month. The invoice does not add consumption tax, and it does not show a tax registration number.
Changing plan
Moving up takes effect when you need it. Moving down waits until the next renewal. Lessons, classes, and student history stay.
Your data
The school owns its classes, lessons, and results. One school never sees another. The privacy policy and the terms describe the rest.
Stopping
A month-to-month plan can end at the close of the paid month. A year paid ahead runs to the end of that year. The terms are the contract.

A partner plan has its own setup and a monthly floor, then a fee per active student. Mention how many schools and students in the note, and we will prepare it.

Questions

Before the demo

What counts as an active student?
Someone who signs in at least once in the billing month. Students who do not sign in are not counted, and they are not charged.
What if we have more students than the plan includes?
Each active student past that number is ¥300 for that month. The included students stay inside the plan price.
Do edits use credits?
Editing does not. A new lesson does. A longer lesson uses two credits. Assigning and studying do not.
What if the credits run out?
Teaching continues. New lesson generation waits for a credit pack or the next month. Unused credits carry for one month.
Can two teachers share the Solo plan?
Yes. Solo can add one teacher for ¥4,000 a month. A third teacher belongs on School Starter, and the existing lessons move with you.
Can we put our logo on it?
School plans are Wika-branded. Your own name, domain, and sender address are the partner programme.
Is consumption tax added?
No. The price on this page is the amount you pay. Kenjin Labs is not registered to charge Japanese consumption tax.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. Up when you need to. Down at the next renewal. The lessons and the student history stay.
Can we install it on our own servers?
Wika is provided as a hosted service, so every school stays current and nothing has to be maintained on site.
