Fix one line, not the whole lesson
Regenerate or rewrite a single line and the rest of the lesson stays put. Edits do not spend credits, and a class already assigned keeps its version.
Kenjin Labs
The slow part of preparing a lesson is rarely the first draft. It is the one sentence that sounds wrong for this class. In Wika, that sentence is the part you change.
Change the line, keep the lesson
In the editor, pick the line and choose how to change it:
- Regenerate writes a different version with the same teaching purpose.
- Make simpler uses shorter sentences and more common words, still within the level.
- More natural moves it closer to what a real speaker would say at that level.
- Type your own words when you already know the line you want.
Every other line stays where it is. After a regeneration, Undo puts the previous text back.
Credits are for new lessons
Uses credits
- A new lesson
- 1 credit
- A longer lesson
- 2 credits
Free
- Regenerating a line, a section, or a quiz question
- Typing your own words
- Assigning a lesson
- Student study
The credit pool is for new lessons, not for fixing a sentence. Ordinary teaching use is the assumption. See plans and credits.
The class keeps the version you assigned
Assigning a lesson pins that version. Students read the version you assigned, and later edits to your working copy don’t change it under them.
Each quiz answer still refers to the question that student saw. You can keep editing on your side without pulling the class along with every change.
A suggestion until you keep it
A regenerated line is only a suggestion. Keep it, undo it, or write your own. The topic and the level stay as you set them.
